These days social media is so much a part of our lives, it’s often difficult to imagine life without it. When it comes to travelling, this becomes even more prevalent and one sometimes has to ask the question whether social media contributes positively to our travel experiences or if it detracts from it. 


This can be a controversial topic and many people have very strong opinions regarding social media being either positive or negative. In this episode, we discuss the various types of current social media, some of the pros and cons of social media while travelling and some misconceptions with regards to social media.
